Summary:
The North Shore Middle School Science Department is committed to keeping wonder alive! During their 6th-8th grade experience, students will explore, make and test predictions, and learn about the world around us through the lens of science. We are currently in the process of implementing the recently adopted New York State Science Learning Standards. Under this framework, students will engage in a study of science as a series of Cross Cutting Concepts across their K-12 experience. Our work with students currently centers on infusing the Science and Engineering Practices into their science classroom experiences.
