Subject: Important Message from Dr. Dolan Regarding Masks
Dear North Shore Community,

As I predicted last night, ours is a constantly changing scenario. I am now advised that the stay that was announced by SED (State Education Department) last night is not in place and that there is no valid mask mandate. We will continue to encourage masks to be worn by all students and staff and we might be forced to revert to the mandate as early as later today. But, for now, we will not exclude students from instruction who are not wearing masks.
I predict that there will be further updates and I will keep the community informed. To be clear, for now, the mask mandate is not in place, and we await updates from the courts, the Department of Health and State Education Department.
