North Shore Seniors Are College Bound
On May 1, 2026, North Shore High School seniors celebrated National Decision Day by wearing clothing from the college or university that they will be attending next school year! We are all so proud of everyone in the Class of 2026. They endured an unprecedented college admissions season and received some wonderful results. North Shore students were accepted to some of the most prestigious colleges, universities, technical schools, and music conservatories in the country. Additionally, our Vikings will also be joining the work force, entering the military, and/or taking a gap year to continue discovering their dreams.
Below are just some of the colleges and universities that our approximately 180 North Shore Vikings have been accepted to this year and will be attending. Adelphi University, Alabama State University, Albany State University, Binghamton University, Boston College, Boston University, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Colorado State University, University of Connecticut, Cooper Union University, Cornell University, University of Delaware, Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Florida State University, Florida Tech University, Fordham University, Illinois University, Indiana University, Ithaca College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Miami, Michigan University, Middlebury College, Molloy University, New York Tech University, Northeastern University, Ohio State University, Penn State University, Purchase College, Purdue University, Quinnipiac University, Rhode Island University, Roger Williams University, Rutgers University, Sacred Heart University, Salisbury University, San Diego State University, University of South Carolina, St. John’s University, Stony Brook University, SUNY Buffalo State, SUNY College at Cortland, SUNY College at Fredonia, SUNY College at Geneseo, SUNY College at New Paltz, SUNY College at Oneonta, SUNY College at Oswego, Syracuse University, University of Texas at Austin, Vassar College, University of Vermont, Villanova University, Virginia Tech University, Williams College – just to name a few! One of our seniors was accepted to The United States Military Academy at West Point and was the recipient of the 4-year ROTC scholarship.
Last year, 99% of our seniors graduated from North Shore High School. 96% of the graduating class attended a college or university while 4% went into the military or took a vocational/gap year.
As our North Shore seniors complete North Shore High School and get ready for college, the military, or take a vocational/gap year, we wish them the best of luck on
their North Shore Journey and to keep discovering their dreams! Congratulations to the Senior Class of 2026!
