Assemblymember Levine Donates Check for New HS Press Box

On Friday, May 8, 2026, Assemblymember Charles Levine along with Superintendent Chris Zublionis met at Stadium Field on the bleachers to donate a check totaling $150,000 to North Shore High School student athletes for a beautiful new press box. Superintendent Dr. Chris Zublionis said, “We are so grateful for the support of Assemblymember Lavine who was instrumental in helping fund this project. He has supported the North Shore Schools in so many ways over the years, and it has always had a direct positive impact on our students."

Thank you to Assemblymember Lavine for this generous donation for the new press box that will be used at North Shore Vikings games and events by students now and in the future! The District is very grateful for this donation and Assemblymember Lavine’s dedication and support of the North Shore Schools through the years. The previous press box was many years old and needed to be replaced since it was at the end of its useful life. Additionally, thank you to the North Shore Athletics Department including Athletics Director Don Lang, Interim Athletics Director Kevin Dahill, Athletics Secretary Mrs. Marge Anderson, and the Viking student athletes including Angelo Anobile, Erin Lily La Rosa, Joanna Kenney, and Jonathan His.
