Congratulations to the cast, crew, and pit musicians who participated in the recent high school musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. This production represented months of dedication from our talented students, who have approached this joyous, high-energy material with maturity and love. All three performances were outstanding and displayed the immense theatrical growth, dedication, collaboration, and abilities of our students! Additionally, many thanks to all the faculty, staff, parents, and volunteers who assisted in making all three performances a success.

Director of Fine and Performing Arts, Ms. Dalia Rodriguez said, “I am incredibly proud of our students and of our theater, music, and dance educators who guide this work with such care and expertise. The performances by the Masquers are a true reflection of what is possible when collaboration and a deep commitment to craft and artistry are at the center of the process. It is truly remarkable that, in just a matter of three months, our students are able to bring forth work of this caliber—work that reflects not only their talent, but their discipline, creativity, and shared sense of purpose. I also want to thank our community for their continued support of our students and for celebrating their accomplishments with such enthusiasm.”

As tap shoes shuffle and champagne corks pop, this hilarious and heartfelt musical reminds us that the art we cherish doesn’t just entertain us - it protects the pieces of ourselves we refuse to forget.
