2026 Utah National Synchronized Skating Championship

Congratulations to Chivonne Cheung, a North Shore High School student, who has won the Silver Medal at the 2026 U.S. National Synchronized Skating Championships at Salt Lake City, Utah. It has always been her dream to be a National Championship Ice Skater.

Principal Eric Contreras said, “Our students are so talented inside and outside of school. I am so proud of Chivonne for this achievement in skating at the National Level. She is a dedicated student taking on a full AP/IB schedule, a member of our North Shore High School Orchestra, and still has time to excel on such a high level in competitive skating.” He added, “I am glad we can work with students and support them in all their pursuits. I know how much our counselors are part of that intricate and complex balance so our students can endeavor in all their passions and interests.”
