Noetic Math Learning Contest 12 Glen Head School students receive prizes
Over 33,000 students nationwide competed in the Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) this year. The NLMC is one of the leading math contests in the United States for elementary and middle school students. The contest sparks students' interest in math, strengthens their problem-solving skills, and gives them an opportunity to shine on the national stage. During the test, students apply their problem-solving skills and math concepts to solve twenty creative math problems independently.

We are proud to announce that 12 Glen Head School students received prizes for their hard work! Two Glen Head students placed in the top 10% of students who competed nationwide. Only 3,000 students achieved this honor nationwide! Congratulations to fourth grader Greg Wen and fifth grader William Lim who earned the title of Team Winner and the coveted National Honor Roll medal! We also had ten students who received the title of Honorable Mention for achieving a score in the top 50%. Fewer than one-third of participants nationwide received this honor! Glen Head Students receiving an Honorable Mention ribbon include:
Fifth Graders: Alexander Nkrumah, Elisha Park, Hridik Sehgal, Gordon Wang, Kunce Xiu, and Adelina Yang. Fourth Graders: Alexander Ilyabayev, Theodore Paradiso, Kiran Ramsingh, and Olivia Yu.
These GHS students will be featured on the NLMC website! The honor board will be announced on the website on December 18, 2025 and can be viewed at https://www.noetic-learning.com/mathcontest/results.jsp.
