North Shore Ranks #1 in Nassau County Highest ELA Regents with Distinction Scores

The North Shore School District is proud to announce that it ranked #1 in Nassau County for the highest English Language Arts (ELA) with Distinction student performance scores. Dr. Carol Ann Smyth, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction said, “The recent release of data on the performance of high school students across Long Island on the June 2024 ELA Regents indicated that while all the students in North Shore demonstrated proficiency on the assessment, 91.7% of our students scored with distinction. The distinction rate was the highest in Nassau County and the second highest on Long Island.
