Congrats All-State Musicians

North Shore School District is pleased to announce that six students have been selected as participants for the 2025 NYSSMA All-State Performing Ensemble(s).
Congratulations to the high school musicians including Cole Johnson (Trumpet -Symphonic Band), Nicoletta Kenney (Euphonium - Symphonic Band), Joanna Kim Violin - String Orchestra), Chivonne Cheung (Alternate - Viola), Leanora Bella Atmadjaja (Alternate - Violin), and Cecilia Reilly (Treble Chorus).
Director of North Shore’s Fine & Performing Arts, Ms. Dalia Rodriguez said, "We are incredibly proud of these talented students for their dedication and hard work. Being selected for NYSSMA All-State is a remarkable achievement, and we are excited for them to connect with fellow student musicians across the state and learn from outstanding conductors. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to their teachers—Mr. Domingo, Mr. Bromsey, and Mr. Catalano – whose guidance and support have been instrumental in helping our students reach this level of excellence."
Being recognized by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) is considered the highest honor a school musician can attain. Many thanks to the parents, Arts Angels, school community and beyond for their unwavering support of our musicians.
