Thank You NS Alumni!

It was a beautiful day for the North Shore Schools 2025 Homecoming Celebration on Saturday, October 18th. To kick-off the day, Superintendent Dr. Chris Zublionis, BOE President (alumna) Dr. Andrea Macari, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Dr. Carol Ann Smyth, Alumni Coordinator (alum) Mr. Saul Schacter, Assistant Superintendent for Business Mr. BOE members, and Food Service Director Mr. Alan Levin and his staff hosted the 1st Annual Alumni Brunch.

Thank you to over 75 alumni in attendance including Mr. Richie Lindlom from the first North Shore High School Class of 1958, the Class of 1980, and countless others who shared North Shore stories, participated in a raffle, listened to the beautiful sounds of the HS String Ensemble, and later took a tour of North Shore High School. Bravo to the HS String Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Jason Domingo and Mr. Justin Wheeler! Thank you to Mr. Alan Levin and his staff for a delicious brunch!

Later in the day, alumni gathered to watch the North Shore Vikings football team play East Rockaway! During halftime, alumni of all ages came onto the field for a photograph! A special thank you to Dr. Mari Saunders (alumna of the class of 1943), the Class of 1980, and all the other alumni for joining us this year!

Congratulations goes out to the Vikings Football team and their coaches for a victorious game! A big “thank you” goes out to all the alumni, Dr. Z, BOE President Dr. Macari, Mr. Schacter, and Mr. Levin for coordinating this memorable Alumni Brunch! We look forward to seeing you again next year and don’t forget to bring all your alumni friends and family members for the 2nd Annual Alumni Brunch in 2026!!!
