HS PTO Sponsors 1st Annual Hall-O-Ween
On Thursday, 10/30, many K-12 ghouls and goblins came out to participate in the 1st Annual North Shore High School Hall-O-Ween sponsored by the HS PTO. As families and students walked into the HS lobby, they were greeted warmly by the co-Presidents Ms. Cindy Ayres and Ms. Paola Merazzi also dressed in costumes along with other members of the HS PTO executive board. Students and their families were given goody bags and encouraged to “Trick or Treat” throughout the halls!
It was a thrilling evening of Halloween joy and festivities as each HS class (e.g., freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors) decorated a hallway to the delight of their younger peers wearing their favorite costumes accompanied by their parents and/or family members. Not only were the hallways ornate, but they had themes, activities, and of course candy for everyone to enjoy! The activities included making Slime, taking selfies at the science photobooth, looking through a real telescope, and getting tattoos – just to name a few! The HS Robotics team and robot were also on-hand for the students to see! In addition, visitors had the opportunity to vote on “their favorite hallway” before they left the high school. Congrats to the juniors who won with a Pirates/Hawaiian theme!
Thank you to all the high school students, the HS SGO, faculty and staff who assisted in making this Hall-O-Ween Spooktacular special for everyone in attendance! Additionally, many thanks to the NSHS PTO for organizing and sponsoring this unique evening of pure joy and delight! All proceeds will go to the North Shore High School class governments!
