Glen Head Schoolwide Boosterthon!

In October 2025, students at Glen Head School participated in the annual Fun Run, an outdoor schoolwide event that promotes fun, running, health, and wellness!

Glen Head physical education teachers, faculty, and parents could be seen cheering on their students as they happily ran, skipped, or walked laps around the track of cones receiving a check with every lap! Even, Principal Thomas Sheehan joined in the fun, racing with students around the track! You could hear and see the joy on the students’ faces as they challenged their fellow students to race to the finish line!

Students joyfully entered the event through a gigantic Vikings maroon and white blow-up helmet with yellow horns! The Glen Head School back field was transformed into a high-energy racetrack for all the GH students to enjoy!

Thank you to the Glen Head Parent Organization (GH PTO), GH physical education teachers, and GH parents and families that made this schoolwide fun and wellness fundraiser possible! Everyone at Glen Head School had a great time and it was extremely successful, raising approximately $35,000!
