All-State Recognitions at the New York State Track & Field Indoor Championships

Congratulations to the North Shore Women’s Track team’s following athletes who received All-State at the New York State Track and Field Indoor Championships this past weekend:

Joanna Kenney: 5th place, 3000m run

4x800 Relay: 5th place

Principal Contreras said, "Congratulations to Joanna on her spectacular achievement and to all the Women’s Track All-State Winners, and their qualification to Nationals.

Additionally, congratulations to Coach Neal Levy and the entire Women’s track team who make repeated wins at the local, state, and national level seem routine. What the coaches make ordinary year after year is exceptional and extraordinary by all standards."

These Vikings have now qualified and will compete next week for the National Championship in Boston, MA. Congrats to all!!
