ANNUAL SEA CLIFF SCHOOL WINTER EXTRAVAGANZA
A Winter Extravaganza Everyone Will Remember!
On December 23, 2025, Principal Megan McCormack kicked-off the holiday season with a musical Winter Extravaganza at Sea Cliff School. To the delight of the Pre-K-5 Sea Cliff School students, faculty and staff, Ms. McCormack invited high school students and teachers from the holiday jazz band, chamber orchestra, advanced dance ensemble, and Madrigals to perform holiday favorites for everyone to enjoy! A special surprise was when the Sea Cliff Singers joined the HS Madrigals for favorite songs! Thank you to the HS music teachers, including Mr. Jason Domingo, Mr. Brandon Bromsey (dressed as the Grinch) and Mr. David Catalalon who helped orchestrate this amazing holiday Extravaganza! Additionally, many thanks to guest appearances made by music teachers from North Middle School and Sea Cliff School!
During the Winter Extravaganza, the talented North Shore High School musicians and their teachers assembled on stage to perform many popular holiday songs and lead a festive sing-along for all of Sea Cliff School to enjoy! Highlights of the event included:
- Sea Cliff Students conducting the Chamber Orchestra
- The Madrigals singing a number of holiday songs including “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” & “Hanukkah Oh Hanukkah”
- The talented Jazz Band performed with the beautiful HS Advanced Dance ensemble
- The Sea Cliff Singers joining the HS Madrigals under the direction of Ms. Hassett-Bordes
- A Sea Cliff student accompanying on bells Mr. Messemer and Mr. Larsen in a Hawaiian holiday song
- The happy and energetic feeling in the auditorium with everyone in the audience singing and dancing with joy!
Thank you to Principal McCormack, the North Shore High School and Middle School Music Department and musicians, and everyone who made this special Winter Extravaganza such a cheerful and harmonious celebration at Sea Cliff School. It was a wonderful example of how our oldest North Shore students inspire our youngest students to be creative and fulfill their dreams! Go Vikings Go!
Happy and healthy holidays!
