MS Celebrates SHORE Way Day
On November 25, 2025, a day before Thanksgiving break, everyone at North Shore Middle School did something wonderful and inspiring. Everyone celebrated SHORE Way Day together making a positive difference in the lives of others. Principal Dr. Ryan O’Hara said “S.H.O.R.E. stands for Scholarship, Honesty, Ownership, Respect, and Empathy.” Annually, middle school students are encouraged to learn about themselves and others while thinking about ways they can make a positive difference in their school, community, and in places around the world.
Principal Dr. Ryan O’Hara said, “SHORE Way Day at North Shore Middle School reminds us of just how much we can do when we work together to make our world better for each other.”
During the day, students, faculty, staff, Assistant Principal Mabrouk, and Principal O’Hara engaged in numerous activities and fundraising events, some of which were off-site opportunities for our students and community. The cooler weather did not prevent anyone from working hard, giving back, and engaging in outdoor activities!
Some of the SHORE Way Day activities today included Cards for Soldiers & Hospitalized Children, Life Skills Assistant, Toys for Animal Shelters, Mural Painting, Planting It Forward, Miles for Smiles, Elementary Teacher for the Day, Raking a Difference, Read-a-Thon, Refreshment Stand Sale, Sea Cliff Food Pantry Drop-Off, Friendship Bracelets, Cove Animal Shelter Raking & Care
Mutual Concern Senior Center, and the Turkey Bowl!
SHORE Way Day proved that when North Shore Middle Schoolers collaborate and work together, they could rise to the occasion, pay it forward, and make a difference in the world! Many thanks to all the students, community members, and faculty and staff that helped make this day a tremendous success.
Many thanks to the MS students, faculty and staff who participated in this important day! Additionally, thank you to the students who went to the elementary schools to assist their younger peers and the high school to collaborate with their older peers!
Please ask your children how they helped make a difference during SHORE Way Day at North Shore Middle School. Happy Thanksgiving!
