North Shore T.E.N.S. Summer Program Offers Students a Range of Fun and Highly Engaging Learning Experiences
Once again, our North Shore Summer Experience or T.E.N.S., which stands for Talent Exploration at North Shore, took place in July through the first week in August 2025.
Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Dr. Carol Ann Smyth said, “Students who completed kindergarten through middle school were engaged in a range of fun and highly engaging learning experiences. These activities ranged from knitting and crocheting, robotics and STEM explorations, soap-making and math blast, improv and theater games, gardening and multi-sports! These experiences support the growth of our students as collaborators, communicators, thinkers, problem solvers, innovators, and committed individuals (our SVOs). Further, assisting our students’ development in hands-on, interest-based learning aligned with the North Shore Journey. Two sessions of the program were offered from July 7 – 18, 2025 and July 21 – August 1, 2025.”
Numerous students were engaged in the following activities under the direction of North Shore teachers and staff:
