Viking Explorers Take on Waterway Pollution with Eco-Friendly Soap!
North Shore Middle School teacher, Mr. Keith Slack said, "Eighth-grade students in the Viking Explorers elective set out to explore their local waterways, investigating pollution issues firsthand. Determined to make a difference, they teamed up with volunteer Ms. Angela Carillo from Alegna Soap Company to create their own environmentally safe soap."
He concluded by saying, "Through hands-on learning, these young environmentalists combined science, sustainability, and creativity to develop a product that helps reduce harmful pollutants. Their efforts showcase the power of education and innovation in protecting local ecosystems!"
