North Shore High School Mock Trial Team Reached the Elite 8 Out of Top 50 Schools on Long Island

Congratulations go out to the North Shore High School Mock Trial Team! High School Principal Mr. Eric Contreras stated, “We are beyond proud of our high school Mock Trial Team. This past year, under the guidance and mentorship of Judge Stacy Bennet and Ms. Tara Fabilli, the team reached the Elite 8 Out of Top 50 Schools on Long Island.”

 “We celebrate the team’s hard work, academic preparation, and legal acumen during all the competitions through the year,” continued Principal Contreras. Mock Trial is a wonderful competitive student circuit that promotes legal research, civic readiness, career preparation, oral argument, and team collaboration. It gives students real life opportunities to think and work as legal teams and exposes them to working with various high schools throughout the region.

Principal Contreras concluded by saying, “We are very proud of the team and look forward to another great season in the coming year!”
