GH Students Welcomed Back by New Principal Mr. Thomas Sheehan, Faculty & Staff on First Day

New Principal Mr. Thomas Sheehan along with his faculty and staff happily welcomed students back for a wonderful 2024-25 school year. Everyone cheered as students walked in the doors of Glen Head School and were reunited with their friends on the first day of school on September 3, 2024. Additionally, Superintendent Dr. Chris Zublionis and Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Dr. Carol Ann Smyth, were also at Glen Head School to meet the students.

On this beautiful day, Principal Sheehan greeted the children outside as his students arrived on the buses and went into all the classrooms to say “hello!” At 9 am, he also welcomed his new Pre-K students and families.

Please note, the Elementary Back-to-School Night is Thursday, September 12, and Homecoming is Saturday, September 21, 2024!
