All students enrolled in an Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) course at North Shore High School are automatically registered and required to take the exam commensurate with the course.   These students do not have to take any action to be registered for the exam.    These courses are noted with an asterisk on the AP Schedule. 
2025 AP Exam Schedule

At North Shore High School, we do offer students the option to register for any AP exam they wish to take regardless of their course enrollment.  Some examples include 11th grade students enrolled in the IB History of the Americas course also wish to take the AP American History test and a student may be studying the German language independently and wish to take the AP German test.   While these exams are not required, we support the students in doing so.  Any student who wishes to take an exam for which they are not in a corresponding course must fill out and submit the attached OPTIONAL AP EXAM ORDER FORM, which is due by Friday October 27, 2023.  These exams are noted as optional and students are required to pay for these exams.
