Sea Cliff Students Wear Orange for Unity Day
On October 16th, students at Sea Cliff School participated in Unity Day by wearing orange and participating in classrooms discussions on empathy, kindness, and anti-bullying. Principal Megan McCormack could be seen walking in and out of classrooms and in the hallways and cafeteria speaking to her students about being kind to their classmates and showing empathy to those who need a friend. Many of the students hugged her and gave her high-fives in appreciation.
Anti-bullying themes are often reiterated across the Shore School District, but during the month of October students around the country are particularly encouraged to be kind to one another, be tolerant and accepting of everyone’s differences, and reach out to their peers to let them know that they are not alone.
Many thanks to Principal McCormack and the faculty and staff for providing a caring environment at Sea Cliff School to help “Build a Better World.” Go Vikings Go!
