North Shore Schools Celebrate Halloween!

To the ghoulish delight of many on October 31, 2024, numerous faculty, staff, and students at the North Shore Schools dressed up in unique, spooky, and popular costumes and participate in a school-wide day of Halloween fun!

In the morning, joyous Glen Head students, faculty and staff paraded around GH streets in their ornate costumes, while North Shore High School physic teachers and students in costume participated in the annual Pumpkin Drop!  At North Shore Middle during lunchtime, 6-8th graders partook in the ghoulish Halloween Contest! Later, in the afternoon, both Glenwood Landing and Sea Cliff students and staff gathered outside in anticipation of their respective Halloween parades. Enthusiastic parents, family members, and residents were invited to share in the fun on this glorious fall Halloween day! You could hear the cheering from the crowds!

Dressed in elaborate costumes, masks, and wigs; the students and faculty led by their principals including Mr. Sheehan (GH), Mrs. Finder (GWL), Ms. Megan McCormack (SC), Dr. Ryan O’Hara (MS), and Mr. Eric Conteras (HS) enjoyed a memorable Halloween!

Thank you to all those who made this thrilling North Shore Schools Halloween celebration possible. A special “thank you” to the GH PTO, GWL SCA, Sea Cliff PCA, MS PTO, and HS PTO for donating pumpkins and Halloween decorations, the local police, and our North Shore families for their continued support!
