Congratulations Girls Winter Track and Field Team for Winning the Nassau County Class "C" Championship

Coach Neal Levy said, “Despite the program’s success over the years, this is the first Winter Track County Championship for a majority of the girls.” They earned this achievement by defeating 17 other schools throughout the County and winning by an astonishing 40 points. Overall,13 girls received All-County honors and several others were medalists.”

Principal Eric Contreras said, “It is important to remember that a Nassau County championship is an impressive feat - one that brings pride and celebration as its own singular and spectacular achievement. Congratulation to Coach Levy and the entire Girls Winter Track and Field Team, their dedication and commitment to excellence is inspiring.”

Congratulations to NSHS Sophomores Joanna Kenney & Chloe Connolly who qualified for the NYS Track Championship in the 3000m. They will be competing at The Ocean Breeze Track & Field Center in Staten Island-Sat-March 2!
