North Shore Welcomes New Faculty and Staff  in 2024

On August 26, 2024, Superintendent Dr. Chris Zublionis and Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Dr. CarolAnn Smyth along with North Shore administrators, faculty, and trustees welcomed the following new faculty and staff to the North Shore School District: Karina Lopez (GWL Spanish FLES LR), Giuseppe Chiaravalloti (HS Business), John Savage (GH Physical Education), Jillian McKenna (HS ENL), Ariel Yang (MS Mandarin/ENL), Terence Blum-Marciano (MS Music), Brianna Will (MS Special Education), Jayson Melgar (MS Social Studies LR), Justin Wheeler (MS Band), Gabriella Stein (SC Special Education), Jaime Toron (SC Physical Education) and Matthew Falcone (Shared Physical Education).

The new teachers and staff spent two days at North Shore concluding their training with a District bus ride led by a special tour guide, former Board of Education President, Ms. Sara Jones! Thank you to Ms. Jones and all the administrators and faculty for a productive orientation with our new teachers and staff.  

These new North Shore faculty and staff embody the enthusiasm, intelligence, compassion, curiosity, and love for learning we wish to bring to each of our students. They will help our students discover their dreams, pursue their goals, meet new students, and succeed in our classrooms, on our fields, and on our stages at all five elementary and secondary schools. We are proud to have them join the North Shore School District as our new colleagues and friends.
