2024 SUPERINTENDENT’S CONFERENCE DAY

SUPT. DR. CHRIS ZUBLIONIS USES AI &THE B DAY BAND TO KICK-OFF ANOTHER GREAT NORTH SHORE SUPERINTENDENT'S CONFERENCE DAY!

On Thursday, August 29, 2024, Superintendent Dr. Chris Zublionis kicked-off another successful Superintendent's Conference Day by utilizing AI featuring “celebrities” to welcome hundreds of North Shore faculty and staff back to North Shore for the 2024-25 school year!

But, that’s not all! To the delight of everyone in the audience, the B Day Band dressed in gold glitter jackets made a surprise appearance joined later by Dr. Z singing “Virtual Insanity” by Jamiroquai! A year ago, the band "wowed" everyone at the 2023 Superintendent's Conference Day by singing, "Listen to the Music," by the Doobie Brothers.

Before the performance, Dr. Z. began by showing his North Shore faculty and staff an adorable class picture of himself in elementary school in the 1980’s. He stated how times were simpler back then…on the desks were speakers, a record player, a walkman, and cassette tapes! No one had cellphones, computers, or were using AI!

Dr. Z. talked about the theme of technology and later showed a video featuring various celebrities and politicians demonstrating the advances in AI and how their words can be altered to not only “welcome” our North Shore family back but even introduce the B Day Band!

Thank you to the Board of Education President, Dr. Andrea Macari, who also addressed the faculty, staff, and her fellow trustees, Superintendent Dr. Chris Zublionis, and the B Day Band for an inspirational 2024 Superintendent's Conference Day!

We all look forward to welcoming our Pre-K -12th grade students back to the North Shore Schools on Tuesday, September 3, 2024! Go Vikings Go!
