North Shore Middle School Annual Team Challenge 2024

Principal Dr. Ryan O’Hara kicked off the annual North Shore Middle School Team Challenge with enthusiastic students, faculty, and staff. The annual Team Challenge consists of a wide variety of fun-filled events combining academic, athletic, and artistic skills.

The Team Challenge is traditionally a favorite event at the middle school. It enables students to demonstrate their creative, social, and athletic abilities learned during the first part of the school year. It builds on their already strong teamwork skills and eases the tension that often goes along with an extremely rigorous middle school academic program. Sportsmanship and acts of kindness are always rewarded!

During the two-day MS Team Challenge event on March 26-27, students participated in some of the best cheers, songs, and lip-syncing routines on the Sea School stage! They played various athletic events on the high school fields including cage ball-volleyball, kickball, running relays, and tug-of-war – to name a few! And, had an academic bowl in the MS gym! The teams this year included: 6th graders: The Avengers, Jedi and Wizards, 7th graders: Amazon, Ballistic Brawlers, and Cowboys, and 8th graders: Aces, Double Whammy, 3 Little Pigs, and 4 the Win!

During Team Challenge, all the North Shore Middle Schoolers practice sportsmanship, collaboration, and teamwork while engaging in a variety of fun events and activities that the students will be talking about for a long time!
