Congratulations! Two North Shore Students Advance to National History Competition at University of Maryland
Join us in celebrating the remarkable achievement of Anne Kelly and Metta Pollio at New York State History Day! Social Studies teacher, Mr. Francis Tloczkowski, said. “Their dedication, hard work, and passion for history have propelled them to success, exemplifying the spirit of inquiry and exploration that defines North Shore Schools.”
Mr. Tloczkowski continued, “Their exemplary projects have not only showcased their talents in historical research but also enriched their understanding of the past. Both Anne and Metta have advanced to the NATIONAL competition hosted at the University of Maryland. A remarkable achievement seeing that only two projects make it in each category from New York State.”
Let's congratulate Anne for advancing with her individual exhibit titled Test-Tube Babies: How In-Vitro Fertilization Changed Family and Fertility Forever and Metta for her individual website titled The Red Summer: A Turning Point in Racial Violence athome (nhd.org)
