Sea Cliff School Ranked 14 and North Shore Middle School Ranked 22 in NYS
The North Shore School District is proud to announce that Sea Cliff School (#14) and North Shore Middle School (#22) were ranked among the top “2023 Best Elementary & Middle Schools” recognized by U.S. News & World Report, the global authority of in education. The elementary rankings were according to nearly 4,000 elementary schools while the news magazine ranked approximately 3,000 middle schools. U.S. News & World Report summarizes that the methodology for the rankings is based in part on federal education data and state assessments of students who were rated proficient or above proficient in math and reading/language arts. The methodology accounts for student backgrounds, “achievement in core subjects, and how well schools are educating their students,” said U.S. News & World Report.
