Congratulations Coach Iacovelli on 200th Win!

Congratulations goes out to Coach Tracy Iacovelli on her 200th win as North Shore’s Girls’ Varsity Volleyball coach as the team celebrated a three-set sweep over Bethpage on Monday, October 2, 2023. Athletics Director, Mr. Don Lang said, “It is quite an accomplishment that very few coaches achieve. We are all very proud of all the wins but prouder of what you have done for the hundreds of kids you coached. You have been a role model, a mentor and friend to those lucky girls along with being their coach.”

Coach Iacovelli proudly stated, “This was a culmination of hundreds of volleyball athletes over a very long period of time working hard to create a legacy.”

“Coach Iacovelli’s energy, dedication, and commitment to our volleyball program is inspirational,” concluded Principal Eric Contreras. “She has developed superb athletes and fostered a community of young women who value their experiences on and off the court. Each time I meet an alumna that comes to the games, they speak fondly and positively of the many ways they valued their participation on the team in their years beyond high school.”

Thank you to Coach Tracy Iacovelli for all you have done for the Volleyball program, the Athletics Department, and the North Shore community. Looking forward to many more wins. Congratulations to the entire North Shore Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team on this amazing milestone!
