VARSITY CHEERLEADERS HEADING TO NATIONALS FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW

NS Varsity Cheerleaders are Heading to Nationals Again!

This past weekend, the North Shore High School Varsity Cheerleaders competed at Regionals at Hofstra University and qualified to compete at Nationals for the second consecutive year under the leadership of Ms. Jennifer Freeman. The Nationals competition will be held in Florida in February 2024.

“This team beat a lot of odds this season already and took to the mat to fight for their bid,” stated Coach Jennifer Freeman. “These girls have worked hard to be better every day. We look forward to bringing one of their best routines down to Florida. Coach Racquel and I can’t wait to see what they do with this opportunity.”

She added, “We look forward to another send-off on Saturday, February 3rd! Additionally, for our first time ever, North Shore will be hosting a Section 8 - Cheer Competition on January 6th, 2024. Thirty teams from around Nassau County will be showcasing their dynamic routines at North Shore High School.  The Vikings Varsity Cheerleaders will perform that day at 3:30 pm!” 

Additionally, our Cheerleaders held clinics for our younger students during Homecoming! Please look for more Cheerleading clinics in the future!
