North Shore High School AP Literature Classes Take a Trip to the MoMA Museum
Last week, North Shore High School AP literature students took field trips to the MoMA Museum in New York City.
Mr. Kleba said, “Over 100 of our seniors had a chance to engage with one of the finest art collections in North America. They got to navigate the MTA, have lunch in Manhattan, and most importantly, have conversations about famous artist intentions and methodology. All of it enriches and makes practical the study and discourse we conduct in AP literature.”
“We had a great team of chaperones” stated Mr. Knight. “Additionally, there was a lot of support from parents which helped us successfully pull this off! None of it would be possible without the help from Principal Eric Contreras, K-12 ELA Director Julie Ritter, high school staff, and faculty.”
Both remarked, “On behalf of all of us, and especially our students, thanks a ton for supporting us and this trip. We can’t do any of this without you!”
