Recently the North Shore High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Club under the direction of advisor, Ms. Lauren Sandback, took a trip to Adelphi University to compete against many other local high schools. The FBLA Club apprentice trip showcased different high schools on Long Island brainstorming their best marketing strategies for the featured sponsored business called the “Guac Shop”.
Congratulations go out to North Shore High School student, Maria Micheal, whose original ideas and marketing efforts led to the success of the winning group! The owner of the “Guac Shop” was present to congratulate the winners and review their business strategies, advertising and marketing programs, and tactics.
Additionally, student members of the North Shore FBLA Club who participated included Marco Giannola, Juliette Varcarro, Jasmin Ko, Raymond Lin, Liam Kelly, Maria Micheals, and Niko Stavrianos.
Many thanks to advisor Ms. Lauren Sandback for her coordination and dedication of the students in the FBLA Club and congratulations again to Maria Micheal!
