2022 HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CERMONY

Congratulations North Shore Athletics 2022 Hall of Fame Inductees

At the conclusion of Homecoming on Saturday October 8th, Mr. Don Lang, North Shore Athletics Director, led a memorable 2022 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in the North Shore High School gymnasium. Superintendent Dr. Chris Zublionis along with Interim Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Dr. Carol Ann Smyth, Board of Education members, Principal Eric Contreras, coaches, and their families were all in attendance to pay tribute to these amazing athletes on this high honor.

Congratulations to the 2022 Hall of Fame Inductees from the North Shore Classes of 2009-20017 including Jennie Berglin, Elizabeth Caldwell, Alexandra Cantwell, Samantha Capobianco, Patrick Chaputian, Jessica Donohue, Amanda Johansen, Cody Buchanan Johnson, Kathleen Anne Lennon, Bobby Magnuson, Kaela McGilloway, Samantha Nadel, Brianna Nerud, Caroline Robertson, Ashleigh Sheerin, Erin Sheerin, and Diana Vizza

During the event, the Masters of Ceremonies, Josh Night and Gerald Farrell, called the inductees up to the stage to a loud round of applause by those in the audience. Each Viking athlete not only excelled on the fields, courts, tracks, and pools, during their years at North Shore, but have gone on to succeed in their secondary studies and/or careers.

It was heartwarming to hear how each led their North Shore Varsity teams to victory, broke numerous records, and went on to pursue their athletic dreams in esteemed colleges and universities around the country. But, that’s not all! These dedicated inductees have gone on to discover their dreams in business (i.e., Eli Lilly, Madison Square Garden, JRM Construction), cyber security, finance (i.e., Goldman Sachs, Coatue Management LLC), healthcare (i.e., MedSys Health Network, Boston Scientific Corporation), nursing, the FDNY, education, dance, and coaching – just to name a few!

Special thanks to the North Shore Athletics Department, Don Lang, Marge Anderson, Neal Levy, Roz Johnson, Josh Night, Gerald Farrell, North Shore Booster Club, and Rising Tide Natural Market for providing refreshments after the ceremony.

We wish all of the 2022 North Shore Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees the best of everything now and in their future. You will always be Viking legends and have a home at the North Shore School District. Congratulations to you and your families!
