NORTH SHORE DANCE SYMPOSIUM
Bravo to Everyone Who Performed in Rebirth at North Shore High School!
The North Shore Dance Department had their first in-person Symposium, Rebirth, under the direction of Simone Kuranishi on Friday, May 20th, 2022, at 7 pm in the North Shore High School Theater.
The Symposium was composed of performances from the high school students (the recently inducted NHSDA members) in the Conditioning for Dance, Studio in Dance and Advanced Dance classes. As well as the North Shore Middle School students from the Dance Explorations classes.
To accompany our incredibly talented dancers, there was live music performed by the North Shore High School Strings Ensemble, conducted by Jason Domingo, North Shore Chamber Winds, conducted by Brandon Bromsey and Concert Chorale, conducted by David Catalano. Furthermore, each dance was performed in front of a projection, each of which was a piece of student work from the North Shore Fine Arts Department under the direction of Sara Cano, Margaret DeLima, Lynn Johnson, and Sarah Jones, the teachers of the North Shore Fine Arts Department.
