SEA CLIFF ST. PATRICK’S DAY
SC Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day
Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day has always been a school-wide tradition at Sea Cliff School! “This year, Sea Cliffers replicated the annual St. Patrick’s Day morning parade in Physical Education classes when our K-5 students had the opportunity to walk or run through our outdoor route,” said PE teacher, Ms. Megan McCormack.
Sea Cliff students shared their traditions as well as discussed, the local parades that they attended. Ms. McCormack continued, “Our older students got to pace themselves to achieve a goal they had of how many laps they ran and had the opportunity to participate in our drive through movie theater. Our younger students went on a treasure hunt to find numbers and letters to create words or add together in gold, leprechaun dust, or coins.”
Even Interim Superintendent Dr. Tom Dolan assisted with the search for leprechauns! Fun was had by all and a special thank you to our Central Office team for lending us their lawn!
