Healthy Heart Week Begins at Sea Cliff School
On February 14, 2022, healthy heart week began at Sea Cliff School which aligned perfectly with Valentine’s Day! K-5 students learned about heart health and were taught how to keep their hearts strong and healthy!
Physical Education teacher, Ms. Megan McCormack said, “This year, students participated in Healthy Heart Week challenges and trivia from February 14th-February 18th. Each student strived to reach their own personal best while motivating their peers and were challenged to make a “human heart!”
Ms. McCormack continued, “All students were encouraged to wear red on Monday, February 14th,and participated in a healthy heart themed week to display their commitment towards leading a healthy lifestyle.” Our teachers wore red on National Wear Red Day (Friday, February 4th) to bring national attention to heart disease.
