North Shore HS Sports Night 2021!
For approximately 21 years, North Shore High School gym has been packed with student athletes, parents, and faculty members for the annual Sports Night competition. This year, COVID-19 did not stop the athletic festivities! Outside on the high school field, freshman dressed in green, sophomores in blue, the juniors all in yellow, and the seniors in their traditional white were pumped to compete, exhibit sportsmanship, and have a great time!
During this beautiful evening, everyone was eager as the interclass competitions included tug of war, various relay races, cage volleyball, and the famous obstacle course took place to a roaring crowd! In addition to the athletic competitions, traditionally an Academic Bowl takes place to give students the chance to showcase not only their physical attributes, but their academic knowledge.
Congratulations to the junior class for winning the Sports Night athletic competition! Noah Pastula, the Junior Class President said, “I am very proud of the Junior class. They showed spirit, determination, and great respect toward each other and the other grades.”
Without the support from the administration, class advisors, faculty, and parents there would be no sports night! Thanks to everyone who made this another exciting and fun evening!
