North Shore Welcomes New Administrators, Faculty, and Staff in 2020

On August 31, 2020, Superintendent Dr. Peter Giarrizzo and Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Dr. Christopher Zublionis along with North Shore administrators and Mr. Dave Ludmar, President of the Board of Education, welcomed the following new faculty and staff to the North Shore School District: Sophia Amorgianos (HS Nurse), Maria Anteri (GH Psychologist), Brandon Bromsey (HS Music), Wendy Bruno (SC Special Education), Eva Cieloszyk (MS Latin), Janet Chen (MS/GWL Language), Toni Cohn (HS), Patricia Colon (GWL), Margaret Delima (HS Art), Kayleigh Escamilla (MS Special Education), Alicia Ezat (MS Language), Kristen Hill (MS Speech), Stephanie Mack (GWL Literacy), Ken Mady (HS), Jenny Maldonado (MS Language), Caitlin Mallon (MS Music), Kerri McDonagh (GWL), Ryan McKean (GWL), Alessia Merritts (MS), Amy Mueller (GWL, GH, SC), Arial O’Shea ( GWL Special Education), Veronica Otero (HS Computer Science), Simone Ousset (HS Dance), Gina Scafidi (HS Language), Gloria Remusat (HS American Sign Language), Caterina Rovito (MS/HS English), Emily Totero (SC), Lige Zhaomu (Language).

In addition, please help us in welcoming Mr. Eric Contreras, the new North Shore High School Principal and the following Hofstra Interns: Aaron Birnbaum, Sabreena Lamba, and Nicholas Pandolfi.   

These new North Shore faculty and staff embody the enthusiasm, intelligence, compassion, curiosity, and love for learning we wish to bring to each of our students.
They will help our students discover their dreams, pursue their goals, meet new students, and succeed in our classrooms, on our fields, and on our stages at all five elementary and secondary schools. We are proud to have them join the North Shore School District as our new colleagues and friends.*
