Join Us for the 2019 Community Bond Forums & Building & Bus Tours
Trustees propose a tax neutral Bond Referendum for $39.89 million for the long-term financing of key capital projects. The priorities in the 2019 Bond include Safety and Security, Infrastructure, Instructional Spaces, Air Cooling of Classrooms, and Health and Wellness.
Bond Vote: Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in the North Shore High School Gym at 7 AM – 10 PM.
All parents and residents are welcome to join us! The community forums will address the detailed areas of the bond. Building tours will begin at the main entrance of our schools. They are as follows:
SEPT. 26: Building Tour, Glen Head School, 5:30 PM (Board Meeting at 7:45 PM) OCT. 3: Community Forum, Sea Cliff School Library, 7 PM
OCT. 10: Building Tour, GWL School, 5:30 PM (Board Meeting at 7:45 PM)
OCT. 22: Community Forum, GWL Library 10 AM & 7 PM (Bus Tour, 11 AM & 5 PM)
OCT. 24: Building Tour, Sea Cliff School, 5:30 PM (Board Meeting at 7:45 PM)
NOV. 2: Building Tour, High School, 11 AM (Bus Tour, 10 AM)
NOV. 7: Building Tour, Middle School, 5:30 PM (Board Meeting at 7:45 PM)
NOV. 13: Community Forum, MS Library, 10 AM & 7 PM (Bus Tour, 11 AM & 5 PM)
NOV. 21: Building Tour, High School, 5:30 PM (Board Meeting at 7:45 PM)
DEC. 3: Community Forum, Glen Head School Library, 7 PM
DEC. 10: BOND REFERENDUM VOTE (Tuesday, HS Gym, 7 am - 10 pm)
Registration Requirements: You must be a U.S. Citizen, be 18 years old by the end of the year, a district resident for at least 30 days prior to the vote and not claim the right to vote elsewhere. To vote, you must be registered and have attained the age of 18 by the date of the vote, Tuesday, December 10, 2019. If you voted in the Budget Vote, you are already registered to vote for the bond. If you are a new resident, you must register.
Absentee Ballots: Must be completed and returned to the Central Office at 112 Franklin Avenue, Sea Cliff before an actual ballot may be issued. The deadline for receipt of absentee ballots by mail or personal delivery is December 10, 2019.
Voter Registration: Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 9 AM-1 PM in the Central Office, 112 Franklin Avenue, Sea Cliff.
