5th Grade Fun Day
Fifth Graders Come Together to Meet and Compete!
After what seemed like weeks of rain, it was a gorgeous day on Tuesday, May 29th, to allow fifth graders in all three North Shore elementary schools to gather on the North Shore High School Stadium Field to participate in their fun day! Donned in maroon and white (the North Shore school colors), students formed teams and partnered with their new peers in the different elementary schools to compete in many fun games including a balloon toss, bucket brigade, tug-of-war, football throw, kick ball, ski races, and track and field races – just to name a few!
Not only did everyone have to show good sportsmanship, but also the different activities tested running and jumping skills, hand-eye coordination, dexterity and balancing proficiency. Three cheers to all the fifth graders and their physical education teachers who participated in this awesome fun day! They will all come together again at the beginning of the 2018-19 school year at North Shore Middle School! Best of luck to everyone and have a great summer!
