North Shore Key Club Brings Home the Gold at the International Convention

“The North Shore Key is very proud of their accomplishments and thanks the North Shore Kiwanis Club for their support and sponsorship, said Club Coordinator, Julia Salat. The Key Club finished their 2017 service year by winning a first place trophy at the International Convention for their Single Service Project titled, “Healing the World One Headband at a Time.”

“The primary focus of the Club was to put smiles on children’s faces going through devastating illness,” stated Ms. Salat. With their motto titled, “By wearing your happiness,” the Key Club painted colorful collages that were later turned into vibrant head and wristbands. Additionally, they conducted laughter exercises to create the perfect mindset to “laugh and heal” to further help children battle their illnesses.

Congratulations go out to the North Shore Key Club for courageously helping children fight life threatening illnesses and for bringing home the gold at the International Convention!
