North Shore Middle School SHORE Day Challenge 2026
On February 13, Principal Dr. Ryan O’Hara kicked off the North Shore Middle School SHORE Day Challenge with enthusiastic students, faculty, and staff. SHORE Day consists of a wide variety of fun-filled events combining academic, athletic, and artistic skills. It used to be referred to as the MS Challenge.
It is traditionally a favorite event at North Shore Middle School that enables students to demonstrate their creative, social, and physical abilities. It builds on their already strong teamwork skills and eases the tension that often goes along with an extremely rigorous middle school academic program. Sportsmanship and acts of kindness are always rewarded!
During SHORE Day, students participated in some of the best cheers, songs, and lip-syncing routines on the Sea School stage! The teams consisted of Grade 6: Jedi, Avengers, and Wizards, Grade 7: Avocado Army, Bubble Guppies, and Clankers, and Grade 8: the Chosen One, Double or Nothing, 3-Ring Circus, and For the Win! They played various athletic events and squad challenges in the middle school gym and had an academic bowl in the cafeteria!
During SHORE Day, all the North Shore Middle Schoolers practice sportsmanship, collaboration, and teamwork while engaging in a variety of fun events and activities that the students will be talking about for a long time!
