French Students Meet Virtually with Peers in Versailles, France
The French students in Mr. Lepetit's IB 1 class are putting their language skills to good use. The class had a virtual visit with Mr. Lepetit's mother who spoke on a wide range of subjects including growing up in France and the evolution of technology over the course of her life.
Next, the students began meeting via Zoom with their peers in our sister school in Versailles, France. The meetings, which take place once a week, provide the students not only with the opportunity to practice their French skills, but also enable them to get an international perspective of themes studied in class. The weekly conversations serve to develop new friendships, while broadening the students' thinking about global issues.
