HS Junior Scores Highest of All Participants in NY and Maryland in Physics Bowl Exam

In April 2019, six students from North Shore High School participated in the American Association of Physics Teachers Physics Bowl Exam, which was taken by more than 7100 students worldwide.

Physics Teacher Sara LeMar said, “First year physics students participated in Division 1 and second year physics students participated in Division 2. This year, Izzy Lerman, a junior, tied for first place in Region 5, Division 1.” She continued by saying, “Izzy's scored the highest out of all participants in New York State and Maryland.”
