MS Technology Club Members Create Wooden  Paddle Boats

Since September 2018, the Tech Club has been meeting in the North Shore Middle School Technology Room. Technology teacher Keith Slack said, “The club members have worked on many projects some of them included turning wooden pens and mechanical pencils on a lathe, designing and building a wooden bench for our lunch staff, building custom wooden key chains, and most recently our club members designed and produced wooden paddle boats.”

Mr. Slack continued, “The club members had to engineer their own systems for propulsion and we culminated the project with a fun race in the school pond. We are wrapping up the year designing and building our own skateboard decks.  What a great year for the Tech Club!”
