GWL 2nd Graders Collaborate to Solve Environmental Problems
How can we make a difference and teach others about our findings?
Second graders have put empathy into action! We kicked off our field research study by visiting Tappan Beach, exploring balance at the seashore, and cleaning up a total of about 80 pounds of garbage in one day. This experience inspired us to learn more, and to do more. We thought about which local ecosystem we feel most passionate about, then we dove into research.
What problems do we observe in these ecosystems and how can we solve them? How can we make a difference and teach others about our findings? That’s where you come in! Visit the various poster stations and feel free to ask the experts any questions you may have about their topic. Think about how we can all collaborate to solve these environmental problems. Thank you for attending our Ecosystem Gallery Walk and supporting us by putting empathy into action!
