Fifth Graders Come Together to Meet and Compete!                                                                                                         

The sun came out on June 5th, as fifth graders in all three North Shore elementary schools gathered on the North Shore High School Stadium Field to participate in their 5th Grade Fun Day. The enthusiastic students formed teams and partnered with their new peers in the different elementary schools to compete in many fun games including balloon toss, bucket brigade, tug-of-war, track, and the potato sack race– just to name a few!

Not only did everyone have to show good sportsmanship but the different activities tested running and jumping skills, hand-eye coordination, dexterity and balancing proficiency. Three cheers to all of the fifth graders, high school athletes, and their wonderful physical education teachers who participated in this awesome fun day!
