SEA CLIFF SCHOOL RED RIBBON WEEK
SC School Participates in Red Ribbon Week
The North Shore Central School District is recognizing Red Ribbon Week along with the rest of the Nation, October 23 -31, 2018 to help students further gain prevention awareness against alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Throughout the District, each of our five schools will be participating in different activities and events as part of Red Ribbon Week.
Today, the Red Ribbon serves as a catalyst to mobilize communities to educate youth and encourage participation in drug prevention activities. The goal is to lead and support our families and community in nurturing the full potential of healthy, drug free youth.
We want our students to come together to keep children, families and communities safe, healthy and drug-free. At Sea Cliff School, we will be participating in various events throughout the week. Students will be signing a hands-off drugs poster, creating red ribbons, watching a “I’m Only Me if I’m Drug Free” video clip at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEpF4Q_FaqQ and participating in the theme week dress up days!
Thank you for your continued support in helping make North Shore a safe and healthy place! Be a H.E.R.O. and look to discuss these topics at home.
