Congratulations North Shore 2018 HS Scholar Artist and NAFME All National Honor Music Recognitions

Long Island’s Scholar Artist Award

Congratulations to Christine Ramirez from the North Shore School District for receiving recognition from the Long Island Arts Alliance. Christina was one of 20 students from schools throughout Long Island to be recognized as a scholar artist. Students selected represent the highest level of artistic excellence and superior academic achievement. 

National Association for Music Education’s (NAFME)
2018 All National Honor Ensembles

Congratulations to Hanah Leventhal for being selected to perform with the mixed choir at the National Association for Music Education’s (NAFME) 2018 All National Honor Ensembles.  Eligible students have qualified for their state-level honor ensemble program and competed against top students from schools in the country for a spot in the national honor ensembles.  Selected students will be rehearsing a challenging repertoire in preparation for performing under the baton of the most prominent conductors in the United States. The 2018 All-National Honor Ensembles (ANHE) will perform at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida
