Tri-M Music Honor Society at North Shore High School
15 North Shore Students Inducted in the Tri-M Music Honor Society
Congratulations go out to the 15 North Shore students who were inducted on October 16, 2018 into the Tri-M Music Honor Society, an organization that helps reinforce services through music. The honor includes but is not limited to mentoring, tutoring, and/or supporting fellow students that further allows music to inspire and touch the hearts of its members in North Shore High School and the community.
In order to be eligible for induction, students must be actively involved in their schools diverse range of musical programs. In addition, students must participate and reach a Level V in the New York State School of Music Association (NYSSMA). These students are recognized not only for their outstanding academic and musical successes, but also their leadership qualities. Music is a universal language that is used to express what words cannot. It has the power to unify individuals. Tri-M enables students all over the world to utilize their passion for music and give back to their community one musical note at a time.
Congratulations go out to the 2018-19 North Shore Tri-M Music Honor Society inductees Julia Capitelli, Kathryn Ditrano, Stephen Eder, Will Hunt, Hannah Ikawa, Rebekah Lando, Jacob Lando, Julia McLellan, Michael McMahon, Matthew Rodriguez,
Abigail Schwab, James Vanchieri, Loretta Wang, Irene Zachariadis, and Eileen Zhao. They were inducted into the Tri-M by the Director of Choral Activities, Mr. Jared Berry and Mrs. Rachel Viola. Superintendent Dr. Peter Giarrizzo and Director of the Fine and the Performing Arts were also in attendance to congratulate the North Shore musicians.
Congratulations to all of the North Shore Tri-M inductees!
